You likely have some type of spyware running. Use a product like Ad-Aware to
remove it.

Everytime I type an internet address in my windows xp,
something puts the address to
http://ehttp.cc/?
www.ati.com/support/faq/agchipsetdrivers.html

I then type the address again i.e. www.ati.com etc., and
it works.

Can anybody tell me what the //ehttp.cc/? is for and how
do I get rid of it???? Please respond to my email
address as it is very frustrating.

thanks

First eliminate any scumware.
See
Dealing with Unwanted Spyware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each need to be updated before every use, even when just
downloaded.

If trying everything at that site does not fix the problem please post back
in the same thread.

Ryan,

Download CWShredder and run it.
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/cwshredder.zip
[Removes all CoolWebSearch variants]

Download Ad-Aware from www.lavasoftusa.com, scan the system

1. Start Ad-Aware.
2. In the main screen, Click [Check for Updates] [Connect] and download the latest pattern file if available. and click Finish
3. Click Star | Next (System will now detect the spyware)
4. After the scan is finished, click "Next"
5. Select all the items (checkboxes)
NOTE: Right click on any object in the "Scan result" list and choose [Select all objects]"
6. Click Next and click OK to confirm spyware removal.

Reset Search using this fix:
