I've taken on the task of typing 251 hymns into MS Word.
I'm a fast typist so I've no problem getting the words in but it's th
first time I've taken on anything as abitious with numbering an
indentation etc. in Word.
I REALLY DON'T GET how word does all this autonumbering an
auto-indentation etc. It must be possible to control what's going o
but I can only find long-winded ways of doing most of what I want an
some of the challenges thrown by the hymns are beating me so far (e.g
one line to be indented three characters less than the rest in ever
verse of one hymn!)
Does anyone know if there is a resource that has the info I need to d
this in a reasonable amount of time, please?
Has anyone here done anything similar before? Could anyone say fo
definite whether I'm better off typing in all the words first with n
consideration to hymn or verse numbering, nor to indentation the
dealing with all that - or should I be sorting some/all of it as I g
along?
Any comments would be welcome,
Garet
