I want to connect VS2003 with my
Toshi e800
On the VS2003 menue i can select
the target CPU as ARMV4, ARMV4I or

So what i have to select ??

Thank you Dank

It depends on what OS it runs. *All* Pocket PC 2003 devices use ARMV4...

hi Paul,
the pocket PC runs on a WM2003SE.
Do you mean with your words: " It depends on what OS it runs"
that the processor Type depends on the OS?
In my eyes the Toshiba e800 runs on a ARM4 independently
from the OS.
As eMVP, are you in the state to clear what are the differences
between the ARM_4, ARM_V4I and ARM_V4T ???
This would by interesting may be for others here in the newsgroup

thank you

Moin Rainer,

I just meant that *all* Windows Mobile 2003 devices run ARMV4 processors
(it's part of the specification)...

ARMV4I is a software characteristic indicating that the OS is compiled such
that both 32-bit and 16-bit ARM instructions are supported and will
Interoperate. ARMV4T indicates that the code uses all 16-bit ARM
instructions.
