Do a google search for Belarc Advisor. Download, install and run it. It will
give you a complete listing of all the hardware and software on your system.

Or you can write a WMI-script (VBscript/Jscript) and read all the available
variables that are set in WIndows...

Just as a bit of caution... BelArc will detect and report
the motherboard by make, model and serial number, but many
OEM (such as HP) modify the basic motherboard so not all the
instructions in the motherboard manual will apply.

For example, our older HP 6465 with an Asus MEV-BM (Intel
440BX chipset) was modified by/for HP by having the jumpers
used to set the FSB and CPU cut off so it can't be changed.

| Thanks to those who replied. I will give the Belarc
Advisor a try.

FYI the link below is to the home site of AIDA32..... this is a truly
remarkable program, I found while cruising the web a few months ago.

Elegant, and simple, it offers even more than that Belarc Advisor - which I
downloaded for comparisons.... It doesn't require a browser, as it is a
stand-alone program. It is truly amazing though, how thoroughly the
developer has taken things. After using it for a couple of months, and
being totally impressed by just how much info it displays about my box, and
everything in it, I wrote the programmer a thank you note.... and the guy
actually wrote me back a very humble reply, thanking me for the compliments!
How often does THAT happen, these days?

those out closely.... the program rocks, huh!

Best of luck,

p.s. no I do not work for the developer, or have any commercial association
whatsoever.... I'm just an enthusiastic user.
