Type of Harddrive in W-D Passbook

Does anyone know if the W-D Passbook has a SATA or IDE harddrive?

The Passbook is the little 2.5" HD to USB box. No external power needed.

I assume you're talking about the WD Passport Portable Drive?
If so, it's very likely IDE. Not that it would make any difference,
since it connects to your PC or notebook via USB.

If you're asking out of concern about transfer rates:
You'll most probably be looking at 12MB/s read and 18MB/s write if FAT32
formatted.

I'm asking because I might want to take it out of the enclosure and use
in a different machine.
