I'm entering dates for 2009 in my workbook and like to enter them quick. When
I type 10/29 then by default the date is returned as 10/29/2008.
How can I enter a date like 10/29 in a cell so that this cell automatically
sets it to 10/29/2009 and not 10/29/2008?

Thanks.

It's a file I use frequently, so I was hoping there is a setting in Excel
that could take care of it.
Thanks.

There is no such setting, you would need to either use autocorrect and
select an unusual and
have that character replaced by 2009

or an event macro
