From the Tyan site:
Memory
. 128-bit DDR memory bus
. Six 184-pin 2.5-Volt DDR DIMM sockets
- four controlled by CPU1 and two on CPU2
. Supports up to 12GB of Registered DDR
. Supports ECC type memory modules
. Supports PC3200 / 2700 / 2100 / 1600 DDR
When it says it "supports" PC3200 / 2700 / 2100 / 1600
does that mean that all it needs is 1600, and you wont get any real benefit
from the higher speed ram
or does it mean that you will get more performance out of the higher speed
ram.
If I have the Opteron 244 (1.8mhz) which Ram should I have to get the best
performance out of the Processor.
