Hi, I use IE6 to view txt files in a private network. Is there a way to
enable by default word wrap in internet explorer? If it is not
possible, is there a way to open by default txt files using an external
application?

Thanks

Use File associations to assign whichever program you want to any file
extensions.

You haven't said which version of Windows you use so read the help files
with your unnamed version of windows- the method can vary a little between
different versions- but it is in the help. You could always try right
clicking on a txt file and looking at the options available that way

Hi, thanks for your reply. I've got xp and sp2. I have the txt links
inside an htm page, so when I click it opens another ie page, so I
guess that "file associations" is not the answer
