I have two Windows XP systems on a hub with file and print
sharing enabled and files and folder to share. Each can
see the other, one can broswe into the other and openm
files the other can't. No firewall and permissions are
set. Any suggestions? What's different in networking XP
systems vs 2000 pro systems? Thanks

Have you created users accounts on each workstation so
they can log into each other?

Please reply to this message in the news group (not by E-mail) with
more information to help other people understand the problem.

How are you trying to browse from one system into the other when it
fails -- what are you clicking?

What exactly happens when you do it?

If there's an error message, what is the complete text?

What version of XP does each computer have -- Home Edition or
Professional?

If it's Professional, is simple file sharing enabled or disabled?
