Two wireless network adapters

I have 2 wireless USB network adapters, but I am unable to connect one to one
network and the other to another network.

Is this possible? If so, what am I doing wrong?
 
I got it to work, my problem was that the wireless routers were set to only
allow certain MAC addresses to connect, and the new wireless adapter I was
trying to use had not been added to the lists.
