Two Windows

I am trying to use a compiler and a tutorial at the same time. Is there a
way to keep both windows open at the same time? Now, when I open the
tutorial it closes the compiler and vice versa.

One should be able to open multiple windows if none of the
opened windows are full screen. Then it becomes a matter of
re-sizing each of the [two] windows and placing them on the
screen for easy viewing, such as side-by-side or top-to-bottom,
etc. Is this what you want to do?

Have a look in Tools/Folder options/General. If "Open each folder in
same window" is selected, try changing to the other option.
