Greetings:

Has anyone installed the Windows Media 9 along with the 8 version
instead of updating and loosing the 8 version?...
I'd like to know if it can be done,
has anyone done it?

I know the 7 version is available by typing un Start\Run\Mplayer2..
so it must be posible to have two versions in the system
but I'd like to confirm the posibility before proceeding.

The 8 version is good and reliable
The 9 is also good but in some cases not that reliable
The 8 looks good, the 9 not so good but sound is better, has better controls
etc.

I'd like to keep the 8 cause the 9 gives trouble in some cases so if it
happens
I'll have the 8 for backup. Also would like to keep it because once it's
gone
it's gone for good since it's not available anywhere for download

I'd appreciate any comment...

No- WMP9 replaces WMP8 and WMP7. WMP6 (mplayer2.exe) is still around for
certain backwards compatibility usage.
