Two Start Up Pages??

I Had A Crash And The Only Boot Up Disk I Had Was A Older Xp As Im
Running Xp Pro And Now When I Boot Up I Get My Usual Xp Pro Start Up
Page Then I Get Another Xp Start Up Page Which Hangs For About 1-2 Min
How Can I Get Rid Of The Second Start Up Page??
I Cantgo To A Restore Point As I Have No Recent Points...help

BTW:
- You had a "crash". Is that supposed to mean something to someone
other than you? An OS crash? A hard drive crash? What?
- You "had" an older [Windows] XP disc. So how did "having" the disc
change anything? Perhaps you used it to reinstall or repair Windows XP?
- A "start up page"? And what might that be? A desktop? A login
screen? The default page when you load a browser, like Internet
Explorer?
