Hello All.

I have a client witch using two screens on the same computer but not
at the same time. He switching them because he is working in two
different positions.

The second screen is not connected on the computer with the default
cable but he using extension cable for that, and the extension cable
is 3m long.

The problem is that when he starting up the computer with the monitor
witch is clouse to the computer without using extension cable all are
fine but when he starting the computer with the extension cable in the
second monitor the monitor doesn't work. If he startup the computer
with the monitor that is near to the computer and then he change the
monitors at the runtime then the second monitor that use the extension
it works fine.

What could be wrong in this problem ? ? ?

Thanks a lot ! ! ! :D

How is he connecting these?

Does he have a switchbox, or is physically unplugging and plugging in the
monitors? Or, does have have both connected to different video ports on his
video card?

Also, what OS? What video card? What monitors?
