Two Questions with Editing

Hello. I am a new user of windows movie maker. What I am planning on doing,
is making a video of myself playing the video game Guitar Hero II. Instead of
filming just my hands, or just the screen, I wanted to do both and then do a
split screen with the screen on top, and my hands on the bottom. Is there any
way to do this?

My other question is how to I crop the actual picture, say, in this case, to
make it half the size so I can do the split screen.

Crop to the size you want before
importing into Movie Maker. The
freeware FastStone Image Viewer
has a good crop tool
