Two questions about adding sound

Using PP2003.
1. How can I add several MP3 files to play one after another? Do I have
first combine them into one MP3 file?

2. How can I automatically set slide and transition timing so that the
slide show and the music start and stop together at the same time?

Thanks I got it to work and put together a proper mp3 file.
Now the problem is size. I saw pps shows of equal duration with sound in
the size range of 4 - 6mb. Mine came out to be about 9mb. I compressed
the pictures for on screen viewing and it seems that most of the size
comes from the sound file.
Is there a way to compress the sound file too in Power Point 2003?

For your 1st question, I would like to know if you want to play the MP3s in
the same slide, or within many. Please answer it, and I will be able to give
you the answer.

For your 2nd question, you add your music, then on Custom Animation (Slide
Show > Custom Animation), and change the music, so it starts "With
Previous".

Then when you start a Slide Show, after half a second, it plays.
