Check here:
Start Registry Editor (Regedit.exe)
Go to the following location and check each GUID sub-key.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions
Also, check here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions
{check the values in the right-pane to identify the malware toolbar.)
Spot the duplicate entry and delete the appropriate key (backup the registry
first)

Ramesh--ToolbarCop didn't do it. Plus I couldn't type
anything in the ToolbarCop. It had the flashing bar--but
no text would show up. The two Yahoo!Messenger links are
at the "TOOLS" at the very top of the page where it has
FILE-EDIT-VIEW-FAVORITES-TOOLS-HELP. Its here in "TOOLS"
that I have the double Yahoo!Messenger links.
