1. I have recently migrated by primary e-mail files from
a Windows 98/Outlook 2000 machine to a Windows XP/Outlook
2002 machine. One of the subtle difference between
Outlook 2000 and Outlook 2002 would appear to be that
Outlook 2000 permitted me to specify that all replies to
e-mails would be made using a particular e-mail account
(whatever e-mail account received the particular e-mail
in question) whereas Outlook 2002 seems to default to
using the e-mail account that received the e-mail being
responded to. Is there a way to specify that all replies
to e-mails will be sent from a particular e-mail account
(e.g., btopenworld) irrespective of which e-mail account
(compuserve, BT, Yahoo, etc) actually received the e-mail?
I have tried putting the btconnect info into the outbound
server info in the compuserve e-mail account but that
doesn't seem to do the trick.
2. The second problem is that I have trouble recovering
information from my archive files. My business partner
says that he understand that any pst file over 2 megs
gets locked and can't be opened. Is this true? Some of my
outlook folders would appear to contain 40 megs+. As a
result, I have switched off all auto-archiving.
