I was using Window XP CD to install my second WD hard
disk and some how it starts to install the Window XP into
my second hard drive. I stop in the middle of it. But now
when I start my computor, it will ask me which XP system
do I wnat to start. How do I get rid of the half-
installed WIndow Xp from my second drive?

Hello,
I would try going to your control panel in my computer and
selecting ADD/REMOVE options. Find the partially
installed OS and delete it.....Thats my guess

The logical answer is just to format it.
That will get rid of the half installed bit but DON'T do it.
First job is to rewrite the bit in the C:/ of your FIRST booting partition
(or drive). That bit will keep trying to send you to finish installing the
second one.
I am not sure of the exact way to do it, but I ended up taking my FIRST
(good) drive out & installing it as a slave in a DIFFERENT XP (must be XP I
think) machine & fixing the boot ini & then installing again in the original
machine. Once into there you can go & format the first one.
To see boot.ini, you have to go into the control panel on the different
machine that you are using to fix the problem, & tick to see hidden system
files & folders & also in hide protected system files
When you finish, it should look like this I think.

[Boot Loader]
Timeout=15
Default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[Operating Systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Windows XP Pro 1" /fastdetect

You might want to get other opinions. I won't be held responsible!!
