1. I've connected a computer to the workgroup I'm administrating, but
when I connect to the workgroup, I can only see some of the computers
when I click "View computers in workgroup". When I type in the name of
a computer that I know is connected to the network, but isn't in the
list I see, it works perfectly. I suspect this might be a
much-encountered problem... any ideas how to fix it?
2. Also, I'm configuring the computers so that the user accounts can't
change their passwords. I use Computer Management to do this. However,
on some of the computers that are running Win 2000 Pro, when I open
Computer Management and click to view a user's properties, the
Properties page doesn't come up, and when I try to close the
application, it tells me to close all Properties pages first (well, I
can't close what I can't see, bucko). I've seen posts about this
problem, but no solutions...
