Two Monitors with a Notebook?

Hello!

It is possible to span a windows desktop between a notebooks screen and a
2nd monitor? If so, how do I do it?

If you notebook has the proper video hardware (most do), it certainly is!

Connect your monitor to the VGA output of your notebook. Right-click the
desktop and select Properties to go to the Display Properties dialog. On
the Settings tab you will see two monitors if your notebook has the right
video hardware. If so, set the physical arrangement of your monitors,
select the second (not built-in) monitor, and check the box marked "Extend
my Windows desktop onto this monitor". That should do it!
