I have two hard drives(IDE). On the master I am running
98. The slave has been formated into two partitions: ntfs
and fat32. I would, of course, like to install xp on the
ntfs partition. My problem arises when I run the xp setup
upon restart. I get to the point where it asks me where I
would like to intall xp. I select the ntfs partition. I am
then told that setup files are going to be placed on my
master hdd (the one running 98), but it cannot because the
format of the master drive is not xp compatible. What must
I do to install xp on my ntfs partition?
thank you
