Two fonts in same text box

I put text in a text box and I assign 16pt Arial - bold to the text on the
top line. The lines below the top line are 14pt Times New Roman. I am
finding that sometimes the leading (vertical space) between the first and
second lines is larger than other times.

What controls the spacing between lines? (I'm using Office 2003).

Each paragraph can have its own line spacing values (space between lines of
text within the paragrah, space before the paragraph, space after the
paragraph).

Choose the text you want to work with then pick Format, Line Spacing.

You can set each of the values in Lines or Points. Setting Points forces them
to an absolute value. Setting Lines makes the spacing relative to the size of
the text. For example, if you set 14pt text with spacing = 1 line then triple
the size of the text, the line spacing will still be reasonable. If you set
the same text with line spacing = 16pts then triple the size of the text, the
lines will overlap.
