I have outlook for a pop3 account and for an exchange version as well. I also
have a treo phone using wirelesssync form verizon I have the phone synced to
outlook and for some reason i have tow address books. I would like one to
work for both the pop and the exchange version of outlook. By the way the
phone syncs to the pop version of the outlook contacts.

You are not asking an Outlook question here.
Whoever supports "wirelesssync form verizon" must answer your question.

The wirelesssync is not the problem.

Actually if you just have a pop 3 and an exchange version of outlook how do
you get both to use the same list of contacts.

The one i have the most contact in is teh pop3 version of outlook, so how
can I get that file to link to the exchange version of outlook. also this
pop3 file was transferred from outlook express and it shows as a mapi ?file.

You'll need to post a more accurate description of the problem, what you did
to create it, and what you want to do.

I exported the original address book from outlook express and imported that
into the pop3 version of outlook 2003. When we created the exchange server
version I am not sure how I did it but imported the file to that version as
well but one of the other people in the copmpany did not import the file it
just linked itself, so I am asking how to get my to link to the file that is
being used by the pop 3 version of outlook 2003.

What you're describing doesn't match how Outlook works very well. All POP
and Exchange accounts in a single mail profile will ALWAYS use the same
default folders. You can't change that. Your delivery location is either a
PST or it's the Exchange mailbox, with the latter being the preferred
configuration. Click Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next and examine the "Deliver
new e-mail to the following location" drop-down at the bottom left. What
does it say?

None of that sounds accurate or even possible. At any rate, Brian has your
answer.
