I just got this question from a friend:
If I have Drive C and drive D: under WinXP, is it possible to
"logicaly" merge them so they looks like a bigger C: ??
This without doing anything physicaly!

Yes if they are both on the same physical drive.

Are C: and D: each their own PHYSICAL drives?
If so - a stripe RAID would merge them - but without proper backups - stripe
RAIDs can spell disaster.

Are C: and D: both partitions on the same drive?
If so - a third party product like Partition Magic could increase the size
of one/other and possibly merge them if you like.

I am guessing no installs were ever done to D?
Because you could have some issues if you gor rid of D and there were
records pointing to D...

Thanks a lot Shenan!

What I am told, there is two separate physical drives, I have
forwarded your reply to my friend (who is helping a friend of his)
