I have a lab with two different computers. These are my only two computers.
What is the easiest way to get these two computers to talk by creating two
different subnets? They are both Win2k Ad Servers. Thanks all.

Comp-B: 192.168.3.1

There is very little point in having different
subnets for just two devices. If you put them
on the same network there is no issue. That said...

The only way for two different devices to
"talk" to each other when they are on
different IP networks is to route the traffic
between them.

This can either be a separate router,
or a dual-NIC server with RRAS enabled
to do the routing.

You could also even assign both subnets
to one adapter and let RRAS
route in and out on the same NIC
(sometimes termed "router on a stick").
With just two systems -- lest people start
laughing at me -- I have to make the observation
that this would be about as pointless a configuration
as I could imagine.
