Two clients & One Exchange Account

Hi, anyone know what Microsoft's official 'policy' is on having 2 Outlook
clients running simultaneously while logged in to the same mailbox account on
the Exchange server? We use virtual machines on which one version of Outlook
is running on the host and another version of Outlook is running on the
virtual machine. Aside from possible conflicts or corruption of data, like
PST files, are there other risks? I haven't as yet found anything on the MS
website that covers this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Regards,

Randy

You would need to call and ask a Microsoft licensing expert about that aspect of the scenario. On the technical side, it is recommended that you not use multiple Outlook versions against the same mailbox.

Hi Sue, I hadn't even considered the potential licensing violation, so thank
you for pointing that out. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
