Two boot loader for option

I format windows 98 with win98 startup disk and windows XP was installed.
every start the pc,it prompt two boot loader for option.windoes 98 or
windows XP.
How to delete the window 98 option on the boot loader screen because windows
98 had been formated.

use notepad to open and edit the boot.ini file in the root oof the C drive
remove the line that points to 98

Start | Run | msconfig | Ok. On the boot.ini tab click on Check all
Boot Paths. It will identify the invalid one and offer to delete it.

Next time don't use the "/s" option with format.
