TweakVI 1.01 build 1012

TweakUI was ALWAYS a windows powertoy, Tweak UI was Totalidea.
Two completely different programs.

Also TWEAK UI(not TWEAKUI)is supposed to work with RC2, I have RC2 and Tweak
UI says I do not and will not install

I have TweakUI installed in XP home
I went to Totalidea.com and they have TweakVI - Basic edition is free
TweakVI installed in build 5744
I am anxious to see what I can screw up with this deal

Carlos, you seem to be ''on the money'' here - just an expression
the ''free'' edition has no money requirement ;-)

Missing TweakUI?
Well... enter TweakVI.
http://www.totalidea.com/content/tweakvi/tweakvi-index.html
Not freeware, but there is a free basic version
http://dl.totalidea.com/files/public/tweakvi-bsic-sfx.exe
"Ultimate" versions will require you to shell out some 40 bucks or so.
Latest release was two days ago.

Hi BChat:
Don't quite understand the "on the money" expression because my language is
Spanish.
However I DID quote that there was a free Basic Edition and that if you
wanted the Ultimate one you would have to pay.
I also don't see the point in Nero's comments.
All I am saying is that there is a program called TweakVI for Vista that
seems to be the replacement for TweakUI.
I am not suggesting/forcing/promoting/fostering anyone to do anything.
Just simple posting from the southermost tip of South America.
Regards.
Carlos

Carlos,

"on the money" is an expression here in USA, and maybe elsewhere, meaning -
"you are correct"
I forget sometimes that not everybody in the world speaks English :-)
I got your point and thank you for the information

Ok. Duly noted.
Thanks for the colloquial English lesson.
Though I understand most of the usual day-to-day terms/expressions/acronyms
there's always a new one to learn.

Sorry for my poor English.
What is the meaning of "Pukkintwat" included in your answer?

As a native English speaker, I've never heard that expression (and
neither has Google), however I can make a guess, and I don't like what
I'm guessing. If it means what I think it means, then I'd say it applies
to the person who used it, not to you Carlos.

Carlos:
Ignore the trolls in this group. There is nothing wrong with your
English, I've had no trouble understanding any of your posts for a few
years. My only language is American and at times I have trouble
understanding English. Have a great day Carlos.

Carlos,
Some people are not very nice - know what I'm saying ;-)

Thank you for your comments.

You are welcome.

To return to the original topic, it appears TweakVI (and its predecessor
Tweak-XP Pro) are only for 32-bit. Sigh.

Graham.
