TweakUi for Vista 64?

Maybe some of the MVP's could ask about it when they are in Redmond for the
Global Summit.

Today, Mike Hall - MS MVP made these interesting comments ...
No, it didn't.. that program did not come out of Microsoft..
Tweak UI didn't come out of MS? Huh? No, it wasn't sold
commercially, but wasn't it written as a hobby by some MS
programmers and distributed on MS's web site?

TweakVI did NOT come out of Microsoft.. it is NOT a replacement for
TweakUI..

True, but it is pretty much a replacement. I'm not sure of a TweakUI from MS
for Vista, yet. TweakVI does very similar things as TweakUI did...

As yet, there is no TweakUI for Vista.. it may well be in the pipeline.. I
did try the TweakVI, but one has to pay to get all of the features.. one
thing I do not like about it at all is that it attempts to look like it is
the replacement, the name having been made to look like TweakUI at a quick
glance..

Looking for link to
TweakUi for Vista 64?

and does them poorly at best.
any program that automatically makes changes with out being asked to do is GARBAGE.
and the author has a bad attitude.

I tried TweakVI and found it intrusive and not offering much (at least in
the free edition) that wasn't already in Vista. The nag screens were
annoying. I've removed it.

Incidently Microsoft's version of TweakUI for NT _does_ work under Vista.
It doesn't offer all of the features of TweakUI for XP, but it's got some of
the familiar features.

NO it has not.
tweakvi is garbage.
nothing in the free version that is not already in vista.
gotta buy the upgraded one to get anything.

TweakUI = Tweak User Interface

TweakVI = Tweak Very Iffy
Tweak VI = Tweak Vista Interface? <grin> What has simply astounded
me for a decade is why MS never put into Windows what 3rd party
utility developers have made millions out of, or sell it
commercially. And, I certainly like Tweak UI and have long wondered
why it never made it into XP SP1 or SP2. If it is a good idea, and
it is, why not make it part of the base product and make vastly
more customers happy?

where did you find that one.
checked ms web site again and nothing there except for the standard xp one that I can find.
