TweakUI for WinME allowed you to specify a format for shortcut titles. I
don't like to have to change every shortcut's name manually.

I can't find that option in the WinXP version of Tweak UI. Does it exist?

Thanks.

If you click on Explorer a settings list appears and you can scroll
down to Prefix to remove "Stortcut to". To remove or change the
arrow expand Explorer and select Shortcut.

In TweakUI for XP, if I click on "Explorer," the only option that "Shortcut"
gives me is to change the icon.

Do you have release 2.10.0.0 or later? Often when someone points to
something useful in TweakUI, it doesn't show up in my copy because
TweakUI sillily doesn't give that option to regular user accounts.

But this particular one does show up in TweakUI in my limited
account, so I think you may have an old version.

Don't click on the + sign. Click on the word "Explorer" and the Settings
list will appear just as Ian D has said. Then follow his instructions.
