A powerful help tool for Windows. And still "previouslier" as Lex's
Tweaking Guide. A 5 meg help file.

(Site excerpt)
The Tweaking Experience previously known as the "XP-Tweaking Guide"
for Microsoft Windows XP/2000 and Windows 2003 Server is a help tool
with useful information about Tweaking Microsoft Windows XP/2000 and
Windows 2003 Server.

The Tweaking Experience for Microsoft Windows XP/2000 and Windows 2003
Server brings together all Tweaks for Microsoft Windows XP/2000 and
Windows 2003 Server such as Internet, Miscellaneous, System
Performance, Windows 2003 Server and User Interface related Tweaks
into a single, easy-to-use, centralized help file.

Me too. Had problem saving the file, normal click on download link
<http://www.ntfs.org/users/avdhorst/xp-tweaks.msi> no go,
worked with right click and save as. Maybe something odd with the mime
header, as the msi file saved as *.txt here. Renamed to '.msi, OK.

All the best,

Its a scitzophrenic five magabytes .exe file that runs on a pc. Would you
blame it for thinking it was software?

In the eye of the beholder. (Hmmm. Glad I stretched before sending.
Please interpret that in the friendly way.)

Boomer,

Could you please stay on topic and recommend freeware in this group?
Instead of indulging in control-freakery that does not contribute any freeware
and that degrades the atmosphere of the group.

Bill's was a friendly and helpful post, and you were able to come up with was
a downer. What a pity you had to indulge yourself in that particular thread.
Would very much appreciate your refraining form further such polluting acts in
the future. Try to control yourself for a day or two, at least.
Thanks.

Oh, and thanks, Bill.
The install file runs well and the tips are helpful. Appreciated here.
Let's not let a few anal-retentive grouches deter us from sharing useful
software and information.
