Tweak ui powertoy problem

I am using WinXP with SP-1. I downloaded the unsupported
Microsoft powertoy called Tweak ui. I noticed afterwards
that the icons on the desktop, and start menu, had all
gone very grainy looking, and some had changed design
slightly. The only function I had touched that had
anything to do with icons was the one where you could put
an arrow on shortcuts. I changed that back to the
original setting, (I am very sure that I didn't alter
anything else to do with graphics) I uninstalled Tweak
ui and rebooted - didn't help !!
I had to resort to doing a system restore, which fixed
the problem, (Phew !!)

Any advice on the subject ??

Thanks for the tip Kelly !!

Hi Kelly,

When I went to save your edit, I was asked where to save
it, (It was automatically going to save it in the
my "Pictures" folder). Where do you think I should save
it?? Does it really matter?? (I'm not the most computer
savvy person in the world !!)

Thanks again for your invaluable help,

Andrew Warren

Hi Andrew,

If you are still speaking of my edit, you can save it anywhere. TweakUI nor
System32 needs it. I just corrects the icon view for you.
