Hi,

I've had a TV wonder for a few years, but in all honesty I've hardly ever
used it. I think I was running Win-ME when I first got it, but otherwise its
been pretty idle since.

I'm about to hand over an old VHS-C camcorder to my parents, but before I
do, I want to capture a load of old analogue video that on the tapes.

So I installed this ATI TVW VE card in my spare PC which was running WinXP,
however the card is giving me two probs :-

1. I've got the corder playing the tape out through its av port to an
adapter I have which converts scart to composite/tv-s etc . I've tryed to
get Windows movie maker to capture the input, but the picture is scambled.
There's definately something there, because it just goes blue when I unplug
it. I have set the signal to PAL-I ( for uk) but this has made no
difference.

2. I've tryed various versions of the MMC & drivers, but depsite this, I
can't get the TV tuner program to properly intialise. I click on the launch
bar TV icon and that starts the tuner wizard, but I get stuck on step one. I
get the option to click cable/antenna, but the drop down menu (pressumably
for region) is blank and I can't proceed further.

I'm hoping solving one of the above could also fix the other. I 've had this
problem with the card on two separate machines. One has an FX5600 vga card,
the other has a GF3 ti200.

Here's a screenshot of where I get stuck.

Pls help
Thx
