tv wonder problems

I picked up a TV wonder pci card a while back and been having some problems
with it. I installed it and Some times during use it will lock up my whole
computer and I will power it down. Now when I started I was running win2000
pro with all the current drivers from ati's website. My friend who I got the
card from told me it was running great in win xp. So I loaded win xp pro on
my computer, downloaded all updates for xp and newest drivers from ati and
still locking up computer. Now what it does is when on using the mmc or the
guide plus it will evently lock up my computer, sometimes it will work for
seconds sometimes minutes. It's getting me mad and would like to use it.
Anybody know how this could be fixed.

my pc
mci kt3v
amd 2000xp
256 ddr
20 gig western digital hd
60 gig western digital hd
ati radeon 7500
ati tv wonder
 
have you tryed it in a diferent pci slot?
your main board shares pci slots with each other and the agp so it may be
the problem just try it in diferent slots till you find one it likes swap it
out with things like sound cards if you have to
