That is just a silly answer. How the hell does the signal play through my
regular speakers then??? On my digital computer???

Lets try again.

The answer to your question is going to depend on how you outputting
the sound from the TV Wonder. Is it Internal to the Soundcard or are
you using the patch card external to the soundcard IN jack. Check to
make sure the source for the USB device isn't muted in your sound card
or some other configuration.

I have noticed on my ATI 7500 All in Wonder that even though I am
suppose to be able to use the internal hookup for sound, it doesn't
work correctly. I can listen fine but when I record volume is
extremely muted. It shouldn't do this but it does. So try switching
the sound setup to different sources.

BTW how do you like your TV Wonder PRO. I have had no end of problems
with mine which I purchased in 11/03. I have tried running this on two
different boards. On both I have audio problems where it won't see or
let me enable Stereo reception, lock up problems when using the
browser feature, recording out of sync problems. Poor picture quality.
And the tiny COAX connector is extremely annoying... I can't believe
ATI is that cheap.

Hello -

first off, i'm please overall with teh TV Wonder Pro. It works well with
teh nVidia card, but there are a few 'gotchas' that are annoying, but i
don't believe those are the fault of ATI. First and foremost, i wish i
could position teh TV window on my secondary monitor, but from what ican
tell, that is a Microsoft/DirectX issue, not an ATI issue. The other thing
that annoys me is the MMC program itself. 8.8 always complains that i don't
have the latest Radeon drivers installed (duh, i have an nVidia card) so
scheduled recording is in essence disabled since the damned program won't
start. that is supposedly fixed in 8.9 of MMC but i can't even get the
installation program to install 8.9...so i can't vouch for the fact that its
fixed. That definately IS an ATI issue...

Occasionally the video/sound is out of sync, but everytime i have recorded
video, the audio was synced perfectly w/ the video. The picture quality
is excellent, in my opinion. i just wish ATI would get its act together w/
MMC.

I currently have the 'standard' audio setup, where i have a patch going from
teh TV Wonder Pro audio out to my sound card's "line in". I still don't
understand why this wouldn't utilize my headset when i have that plugged in.
its all coming out of the sound card in teh end...so why is this different/
