tv tuner to replace my wintv2000

I have the hauppauge wintv2000 pci tuner and capture card and recently
got a new dvd authoring program (Ulead Movie factory) which conflicts
with the wintv2000 so I cannot load it unless I use its drivers but its
drives conflict with the Ulead Movie Factory (no audio). I would like to
get a generic tuner to view programs on my computer like the wintv2000.
Maybe that will remove the conflicts.

Any out there?

Maybe the freeware version of ChrisTV?

http://www.chris-tv.com/download.html (in the centre of the page you'll
find two - older - freeware versions. The latest worked fine on my PC).

Agree. Thanks to all for the help. I did use Chris' TV and the info on
tv-cards to install radiator to replace the hauppauge wintv 2000 and
their fm radio.

Interesting, that after I did so, my system is more stable with the
freeware than with the wintv 2000. Plus, the freeware has more features.

This is a great newsgroup because of people like you.
