TV Tuner Software with Scheduled Recording

I am looking for is a TV Tuner software with scheduled recording but that
will work with
http://www.hauppauge.com/html/usb_data.htm

I want to be able to set and record shows while I am not there.

TV Monkeys was in developement and looked promising but the authors e-mail
I have does not work, bounced back as not existing.

Does anyone have any links to this program or one like it?

I already have iuVCR and I can 'capture' to hard disk, but is it
possible to record directly onto DVD as even compressed .avi takes a lot
of disk? I don't have a TV tuner card though but I might get one if I
could find a cheap & cheerful one!
