What exact model TV Wonder do you have? You sure it's not the TV Wonder VE?
But as the other poster stated, the channel has to be broadcasting stereo
for it to come in as stereo (although out of about 70 channels here I could
only find one in mono...)

interesting...i have many out of 100 or so....almost all channels that are in another language are mono(not counting those) Some PBS
stations etc...seems like some that are SAP available are mono

yeah should have said the majority are....anyway....once again this points to the install of either the capture or the tuner
drivers.
Possibly the crossbar

Hmm, you're not using a cable box or something, are you? It's just that I
can't imagine that there are that many analog cable systems with 100 analog
channels...

Hmm, you're not using a cable box
no

I could use the box...but this through the tuner..1-116 channels with a few missing in between CA-USA

Well as far as I know, most stations here are in Stereo....and yes I am
using the mini jack that came with the card....

OK :-) Do you get any in stereo? If so, then I'd imagine the card is working
properly... if not then you might have a driver issue.

no I have the majority in stereo..... I made it sounds as the majority were not,,,, that wasn't my intention.....just wanted to
make aware to the OP that some channels are not

When I connect cable from a digital cable box only mono sound is available.
It's fine with the a/v cables from the box or with the cable direct to the
tuner.

That's because not many devices will modulate a stereo signal onto coaxial
cable. This also happens with VCRs or DSS receivers. When you receive
television off cable or antenna, the sound is already prepped for stereo
decoding at the source (thus "MTS" or "DBX" stereo decoding advertised on
TVs). But when something like a cable box, VCR or DSS is creating its own
signal, it also has to encode the sound. Stereo modulators cost more, so
they all just stick crummy mono ones in.
