I have a pennicle pctv rave card in my p4 2.8 w/ht. When
i try to use it the video locks up (audio still plays)
and I have to manually shut off the computer to end this
program. on pinnacle's website the same problem was
posted and the report was that microsoft had a hot fix
that is only available by e mail. Article # 817589 tells
about this hot fix. How can I get this sent to me?

Open MS Help&Support (a link is on the Windows Update page)
and search for the article number or subject if you don't
know the number. You download it from the MS site, nobody
will send it to you.

BTW, you used your real (apparently) email address. All
newsgroups are harvested by evil people who will send you
viruses that appear to be from Microsoft or other
"trustworthy" sources. Be very careful about your email,
Microsoft will not email you, send you attachments, neither
will any other honest business. You will also get more of
the just plain, ordinary spam.
