Hmm, never had any problems, but after a recent fresh install of my system
the following happens: after installing
WDM/cat36-driver/controlpanel/DAO/MMC8.1 I can't watch TV, i.e. I can for
one second per channel, after that only noise. Tried to re-scan (deep scan),
31 channels found, but same problem afterward (country = Netherlands). Like
I said, I've used the same configuration before the fresh instaal, then no
problems. What's wrong?

Bo, there is a problem with DirectX 9.0b and PAL/SECAM tuners. Your
description doesn't sound exactly like it, but it's not impossible , if
you've installed DX9.0b, that this is the cause. If so, M$ have finally
posted a fix at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;825116, although
they have yet to warn people of the problem on the DX9.0b download page, and
the fix is not easy to find.

I've already installed the DX9.0b patch (even before installing the ati
drivers). I think that is not the problem.

I've noticed that the thumbnail-display in ATI/TV works good, actually al
the channels show up, and the '' active' channel is playing.
