Hello,
I just formated my Windows XP machine into a Windows Vista and im really
impressed by everything this faar. On my XP computer the TV-out to my TV
worked very well, but not in Windows Vista. When i boot up Windows Vista i
get the BIOS / Dos-screen on my TV (everything seams to work!). I also get
the "loading ......." screen on both my CRT and my TV. But when the login
screen disapears my TV goes blank. And when i try to activate it in Display
Properties it goes active, then 2 seconds after it goes inactive, but no
image on the TV at all, totally blank. It just changes my main resolution to
800x600, and then nothing.
Vista has found my CRT as a PNP Generic Monitor. And my TV as a Non-PNP
generic monitor. And in device manager everything seams fine.
I am using ATI's latest Vista Display Drivers.
Anyone has any idea whats going on? Its working in BIOS / DOS under startup
so there is nothing wrong with the TV or the cable. Its also detected.
I am very happy with any kind of answers and tips!
Thanks alot!
Best regards,
Christopher
