Hello. I have a computer with an ATI A-I-W video card and wireless
remote that is connect to my TV, and often record TV shows and watch
them on my TV. The problem is that the file selection menus are so
small that I can only view them on the computer monitor. I've tried
WinDVD, PowerVCR, and many others, and they all have the same problem.
The menu bar is okay, but the file selection screens are unreadable on
a standard TV. Does anyone know of a PVR or DVR software application
with menu large enough to view on the TV screen?
Thanks.

Maximum PC seemed to like Snapstreams PVS3 system. It also lets you
stream like a new Replay unit.

What I did is go into the Display Properties, Appearance, and set the
scheme to Windows Classic (Extra Large). Also I had to customize the
font size of some of the items that the scheme doesn't touch.
Increase your font size and applications like ATI Library will be
easier to read on the TV

Well I don't know if its viewable on a TV but the very latest version of
ATIs MultiMedia Centre (MMC 8.6) has a feature called EaziLook which has big
information displays on the monitor screen when making selections such as
channel and volume changes etc. You have the required hardware to install it
(A Radeon based card or higher and a remote wonder - I presume that's what
the wireless remote is), so that may be a cheap solution to the problem for
you. Perhaps someone using a TV with this setup can confirm if it works OK
through the TV display.
