Can this be done? I have Sky + and would like to copy programmes from it to
DVD's. I think I need a TV capture card? I would also like to be able to
watch TV on my PC. Can anyone recommend hardware that could do this?

Thanks

John

I use an (older) USB device. Or get a PCI card. Then run a coaxial feed from
your Sky+ box

There are loads of other technology options - try google eg

I use a Winfast PVR2000 connected by a Scart lead with phono adaptor from
the VCR Scart socket on the Sky box and plugged into the phono sockets
(Sound and Video) of the PVR2000.

Cheers guys, been looking into it today and thanks for the help but think
i'm gonna go for a dvd recorder, Mustek R400A, and if any editing is needed
ie get rid of the ads then will use my PC to edit and put back to dvd. Does
this sound plausible?

Thanks
John

In addition - I have recently learned a Movie Maker trick that you might
like.

Hop over to the Movie Maker forum for my announcement as it is OT here.

Hi Mac,

I have 2 questions: 1) What is OT? and 2) What's the name of your thread in
that group that you referring to (about the movie maker trick)?

Off Topic (for this forum)

Haven't posted it yet - ran out of time last night ;-)
It'll be titled "WMM2 editing trick" later today...
