TV Card No sound

I had a TV/ FM card installed.
I got it to work (picture and sound)
I tested the dvd/cd player with a music cd. Windows Media Player10 ran thru
its setup but no music.
I lost sound to the tv/fm radio.
I looked in device manager but didn't see any yellow marks.
Any ideas?

This sort of thing makes me want to go back to the stone age when all we did
was sit out side the cave and marvel at the passing clouds etc.

Check to make sure that one of the newly installed things didn't mute the
speakers, this happens from time to time for no known reason.

check your mixer settings and not just the volume, e.g. double click on the
volume control to open entire feature set. Remember to check both playback
and recording (advanced or whatever, every cards diff) controls.
