tv as primary monitor (s-video)

i want to use my tv as the primary monitor, but everytime
i restart my computer the tv will not display anything.
It seems like there is a signal going to it, but it won't
display anything. I just want to know how to setup my
monitor settings so i can use my tv as the only monitor.

Generic way to switch from monitor to tv...

Ensure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card and that it
supports tv-out.

Turn ON the tv. No version of Windows can 'see' a device that is turned
off.

Reboot the PC.... now it should 'know' that it has a tv attached to it.

Right click on the desktop and select Properties. From the Advanced tab,
click on Settings and look for the Monitor tab. There should be an option
here to 'switch' output from monitor to tv.
