Hi,
Is there a way to turn off the preview pane when
toggling between open windows? It's a lot slower and I
find it somewhat annoying. I just want the old alt+tab
back.. Suggestions?

Thanks!

Anon,

Have you installed TaskSwitch powertoy (ALT + TAB Replacement)? Uninstalling it should solve the problem. To temporarily disable this feature, end task TaskSwitch.exe from Task Manager, or disable Taskswitch.exe from the startup tab of MSCONFIG.

I don't see the TaskSwitch powertoy installed, but ending
taskswitch.exe does work. Thanks so much!

If taskswitch.exe is running, then you've installed the Powertoy. It should be listed in Add/Remove Programs.
