turning off port 21

Could anyone please give me a little shove in the right direction towards
knowing how to close an open port on WinXP Pro Sp1. I downloaded sp2 but had

I downloaded sp2 but had plenty of problems.

A lot of people have...except me. I decided early on not to download it. I
didn't see a reason to spend 3 or more hours downloading it since I already
basicly have what it has.

I have ZoneAlarm, I have AVG, I have DCOMbobulator, and every check I do @
GRCs 'Sheilds Up' gets a passing grade
of TruStealth.
