Turning off Monitor Power Save

I run a small computer lab at a private school. We have 13 machines all
with win2k and a win2k3 Domain server. Since this is a school lab, the
comptuers sit on the login screen for a decent amount of time. I have
managed to change the default screen saver, however I have been
unsuccesfull at turning off the default Power Save feature. So every 20
min the monitors turn off and then the students think the comptuers are
off. What I want is for the monitors to never turn off and just sit on
the screen saver. I have found this key in the registery:

[HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\PowerCfg]

But no matter what I set it to, the monitors still turn off after 20
min. Does anyone know what value it should be at to keep the monitors
on? or if I'm even in the right place? or even a policy I could push
out from the server that would prevent the power save feature?

Please if you can send responses to my e-mail at (e-mail address removed)
thanks.

Try looking in the bios at the power settings. I would bet in the bios the
monitor is set to shutoff.

I don't believe the default key is read once a user profile is created, so
changing the default won't change the workstation settings. If you are in a
domain setting why aren't you using GPO to change workstation settings?

I have used Group Policies to set it when a user is logged in.
What I want is to change the settings for when "no user is loged in"
and its on the login screen.
