Working on tables, and PPT keeps resizing as I type in
text. I want precise control of my fonts and it is very
frustrating to have them morph on me. How do I disable
this feature?-jim

On the Toos menu, it's under either Options or Autocorrect or Customize.
Find the setting for "autofit text to placeholders" and turn that off.

Tools --> AutoCorrect Options, Autoformat as you type tab. One of the three
check boxes in Apply as you type, though you probably want all three of them
off. You probably want the Apply as you work stuff off too.
